To Whom It May Concern:
I gladly recommend Dr. Larry's dog walking/sitting services.
My dog, Handsome Rob, is often skittish around new people but immediately warmed up to Dr. Larry.
Dr. Larry is such a kind, gentle and thoughtful individual and these qualities come through with both people and animals. |

He always accommodated our needs including regular walks, last minute additional walks, and care while I was away. Handsome Rob got excited each time when I dropped him off at Dr. Larry's home which gave me great peace of mind knowing he was always happy with Dr. Larry.

Rommel and Ike Not the Winter of our discontent
For the past couple of years Dr. Larry has frequently walked and boarded our two Corgis, Rommel and Ike. We highly recommend Dr. Larry. Not only has he taken great care of our pets, but he has been able to accommodate our requests on short notice or has been able to find a dependable back-up. |
Whenever we encounter Dr. Larry on the street, Rommel and Ike are always so excited to see him. To add to the pleasure of these chance meetings Dr. Larry can be counted on to share an amusing joke or entertaining story.
It's clear that Dr. Larry has an enthusiasm for life, only matched by his love of animals and working with them.

To Whom It May Concern:
Before we employed Dr. Larry for daily weekday walks, our pug, Poppy, who had just completed her final shots, was so "wound up" at night that we could scarcely recover from our demanding day jobs.
But once Dr. Larry was on the scene, with our permission, he took our fearless pup to the local dog run where she taunted her new best friend, Jack, a barrel-chested French bulldog, whom she brazenly out-ran, out-turned, and further eluded by skid-doing beneath low-lying benches and bushes. To our relief we came home each night to a well-spent, calm, contented and loving puppy.
While we lived on the Upper West Side we took a number of lengthy trips. In every instance we returned to a happy camper at Dr. Larry's home.
The bond between Poppy and Dr. Larry has been so strong that even though we moved to New Jersey a year ago, we still drop our energetic pup with Dr. Larry before we leave for any vacations or weekend excursions. It is such a load off of our minds that Poppy is well cared for, and that it's mutual love between Dr. Larry and Poppy.
Dr. Larry also shares many thoughtful observations pertaining to the entire well being of our beloved pug. Clearly it would be difficult to find a pet sitter as diligent and caring as Dr. Larry. (Photos will soon be posted)

Dr. Larry has been taking care of my two cats for several years now. Before meeting him, my mom was the only one I'd let take care of them when I was away. Now my mother is in poor health and can no longer visit me; also lately I've had to travel a lot, but thanks to Dr. Larry I don't have to worry about Emma and Leo. Dr. Larry follows my elaborate instructions to the letter, and takes in my mail to boot!
Dr. Larry is the next best thing to having my mom taking care of the kitties! |

To Fellow Pet Owners,
We can't recommend Dr. Larry highly enough for your pet caring/walking needs. We have a seven year old, anxious, previously maltreated wonderful dog who other dogwalkers have found "difficult" because of her fear of traffic noise in the city. Dr. Larry bonded with our dog beautifully, appreciates her idiosyncracies and takes incredibly good care of her on their daily walks. He is extremely knowedgeable and dedicated and any animal person will recognize, as soon as they meet him, that Dr. Larry is one of those folks who truly adores animals.
Aside from all that, he is punctual, completely trustworthy and responsible beyond the call of duty. We love our dog and feel absolutely comfortable when she is in Dr. Larry's care. His individual attention to the animals he looks after and the seriousness with which he undertakes his work is a gift.

To Whom it May Concern:
Dr. Larry has walked and cared for my two Greyhounds for
over three years. During that time I have come to know him well and
he is an intelligent, conscientious and kind person. This is of
course reflected in his work.
He never misses scheduled walks. If there is any confusion or
ambiguity, he always gets in touch to clarify. He is usually
available to fill in, even on quite short notice.
If he goes away on vacation, his temporary replacements are
always capable and trustworthy. And he never lets anyone walk
your dog but himself unless you have met the person and given
your consent.
My dogs clearly love and trust Dr. Larry. When any health
problems arise with my pets, Dr. Larry is eager to assist in
any way he can, even if it requires multiple visits just to
check in on them -- including making his way to my house in
blizzard-like conditions. |

He often leaves useful written reports that can really help when
a pet is a little sick. Dr. Larry not only loves my dogs as if they
were his own, but also has to deal with their wardrobes. For
example, my hounds are quite sensitive to weather conditions. So Dr.
Larry is very careful when they need winter coats / rain coats /
summer cooling coats and even booties.
I am very pleased he has given me the special opportunity to
recommend him and his services to any pet...and pet owner who needs
some caring help. A more responsible, thoughtful and intelligent dog
walker would be virtually impossible to find. And yes, in my view,
he is a "real" doctor.

Athena mugs the camera
Dr. Larry has been walking our eight-year old Chocolate Lab,
Athena, five days a week in all kinds of weather for almost
six years. Not only is he dependable, but he responds on short
notice for extra walks.
A couple years ago when Dr. Larry noticed that Athena was
slowing down, with our permission, he sent for supplements to
prevent joint problems and faithfully has been administering
the capsules on every visit since. |
When we run into Dr. Larry in the course of our busy lives, his
sense of humor lightens our day and his attendance at our Christmas
parties brightens that event as well.
Sincerely,
Laurence Mitchell, Upper West Side, New York, NY

I enthusiastically recommend the services of Dr. Larry who, for four years walked
Justin, our Doxie/Beagle mix. We think our guy,
because of his refusal to pass up a meal, lived out sixteen
belly-full years. |

Justin - I like my creature
comforts.

Initially, Larry walked our endearing but stubborn Justin, once a
day then increased to two times and then three times a day seven
days a week, always treating him with patience and tenderness And when
our dog could no longer contain his bodily functions in the
apartment, Larry cleaned up before our return.
On a number of occasions Larry, himself a dog and multiple cat
owner, fed our four cats and sifted the litter box. We became so
fond of Larry that we considered him a part of our extended family,
including him at our son's birthday party and enjoying
occasional dinners out together.
I cannot praise Larry highly enough for his dedication to his work
and passion for animals - his own and others.
Sincerely,
Sarah Lazarus, formerly Upper West Side
P.S. You will not believe the incredible energy Larry, a former
marathoner, brings to life: distance cycling on Long Island, sky
diving and bungy jumping in Australia, scuba diving in Gibralter,
camping in the Yukon, open-sea kayaking in Alaska, and circling
Iceland alone by jeep in heavy mud and rain..

I had never used a professional pet sitter until I called Dr.
Larry. My kittens were only six months old, and I was
nervous to leave them for several days. After meeting with Dr.
Larry, immediately, I felt sure that I had called the right
person for the job! I went out of town and never once worried
about the quality of care my kittens were receiving.
|
Dr. Larry is a kind and completely responsible individual, and my
kittens looked great upon my return. I heartily recommend Dr.
Larry's Pet Sitting to anyone in need of top-notch care.
Sincerely,

To Whom it May Concern:
| I was very pleased with
Dr. Larry's care of my dog, Lucy. Dr. Larry is obviously a
dog-lover, so I knew my pet was receiving good care while I was
away. Also, because of the individual attention Lucy received
from Dr. Larry in a home environment, I'm sure she was under much less stress than
had she stayed at a sterile commercial kennel. I have nothing but praise for Dr.
Larry. |

To Whom it May Concern:
My Italian Greyhound so profoundly wove her way into Dr. Larry's
heart, that on his Monday through Friday walks with Rocco, he
introduced her to nearly everyone he came upon.
|

Rocco, ever camera shy
Not surprising, then, that
when I walked Rocco myself, complete strangers would greet her
by name.
Since Rocco is a delicate 15-pound miniature, Dr. Larry
carefully adjusted her attire, and how long she should be kept
out, to changing weather conditions. |
You'll not find a more mature,
caring, and conscientious dog walker than Dr. Larry.
